SONG RELEASE
This Song Release Agreement (“Agreement”) is made effective as of January 1, 2020, by and between the undersigned individual (“Licensor”), and Sunscope Entertainment Corporation, located at 13547 Ventura Blvd, Suite 800, Sherman Oaks, California 91423 (“Sunscope”).
1. Grant of Rights:
Licensor, as the sole songwriter, singer, music producer, and performing musician of the original song titled “Better Days” (“Song”), hereby grants Sunscope an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual right to use the Song in connection with the film production titled “Moon Over Sorrento” (“Production”).
This grant includes the right to use the Song and all of its elements (including lyrics, music, vocals, production, and performance) in all media formats now known or hereafter devised, including but not limited to theatrical, television, internet, streaming, home video, advertising, trailers, social media, and promotional materials.
2. Ownership and Warranty:
Licensor affirms that they are the sole owner and/or authorized representative of Caradon Records Music Publishing Co, which owns all rights to both the musical composition and the sound recording of the Song. Licensor warrants they have full authority to grant the rights provided in this Agreement and that use of the Song by Sunscope shall not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
3. No Compensation
Licensor acknowledges and agrees that the Song is being donated for use in the Production, and that no compensation, royalty, or fee is due or expected from Sunscope now or in the future. This donation is made voluntarily.
4. Credit:
Sunscope agrees to provide credit in the end titles of the Production in substantially the following form:

5. No Employment Relationship:
Licensor agrees and acknowledges that they are not an employee, partner, joint venturer, or contractor of Sunscope and will not represent themselves as such.
6. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties regarding the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior agreements, whether written or oral.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned Licensor has executed this Song Release Agreement as of the Effective Date written above.
